A little homage to Diseny's 1934 Silly Symphonie "The Cookie Carnival".
Historical Note: "The Cookie Carnival" is based off the old boardwalk parade and bathing beauty contest held at Atlantic City back between 1920 and 1970. We know it today as the Miss America Pageant.
The Silly Symphonies were intended as practise runs for the Disney animators before they took on Walt's dream project: an animated, full-length feature film. Miss Bonbon was one of the earliest attempts at a Disney Princess.
